Grain Processing Corp. Names New President

MUSCATINE, IowaGrain Processing Corporation announced the appointment of John Thorpe as President. Thorpe joined the company in 2002 as Sales Manager, Feed Ingredients. He was promoted to Vice President, Feed Ingredients in 2004, and in 2005 to Vice President, Industrial Starch Products. In 2008 John was promoted to Vice President for Global Sales. He received his degree in Business Management from Silver Lake College, Manitowoc, Wisconsin, and his MBA from the University of Iowa. John and his family reside in Muscatine, Iowa.
