Hartman Group Releases Children's Wellness Study

BELLEVUE, Wash.--Having children, specific health conditionsand seeking a wellness lifestyle are the three main triggers of entry into theworld of children's natural products, according to a new study from The HartmanGroup (www.hartman-group.com).

The market research firm conducted interviews with parents and children inDenver, Houston, New York, San Diego, Seattle and Washington. Families weresegmented into lifestyle based on their approach to children's wellness.According to the 2001 Children's Wellness Syndicated Study, parents arealso frustrated with the increasing number of products targeting children thatare not health-enhancing. The market research firm noted that this opens anopportunity for companies to market products that are healthy and natural andare also convenient and easy to prepare.
