IMCD to Distribute BioAktive Products in China

SINGAPOREIMCD Group, which markets, sells and distributes speciality chemicals and food ingredients, has been appointed exclusive distributor for BioAktive Specialty Products in China. IMCD will handle BioAktiv'es Omega Power natural cold-pressed and refined see oils, which are used in cosmetics and personal care products. It will also distribute BioAktive'snatural-based ingredients in mainland China.  

 We have been seeking the right partner to penetrate the China market for some time, said Solomon Matzner, managing director of BioAktive. "We are confident that IMCDs team has the experience and knowledge we are looking for.

According to IMCD, China is becoming a more attractive area in the cosmetics space and the partnership is reacting to opportunities for its range of natural products in the market. China is not only a large manufacturing center for cosmetics for the international market but also has a large and growing domestic personal care and cosmetics market. The partners believe that the market in China for natural based ingredients is large and growing rapidly, as the domestic consumer becomes more mature and health conscious and the global trend towards, natural, chemical free products continues to expand in the Chinese market.
