Kingchem Partners With Covex

ALLENDALE, N.J.

Kingchem Inc. (www.kingchem.com) entered into an exclusive distribution agreement with Madrid, Spain-based Covex to market and distribute Vinpocetine, a derivative of vincamine that is extracted from the periwinkle plant. Kingchem will introduce Vinpocetine in the United States through mutual efforts in sales and marketing.

Covex currently does business in more than 54 countries and has 15 subsidiaries worldwide. It recently invested US$6 million in the expansion of its GMP-certified (good manufacturing practices) manufacturing facility to increase its production of Vinca alkaloids. Vinca products are used for the improvement of cognitive function, particularly for memory enhancement.
