Lallemand Announced as Scientific Partner for IS3P

Lallemand Health Solutions announced its contribution as scientific partner to the second International Symposium on Probiotics & Prebiotics in Pediatrics (IS3P), taking place in Antalya, Turkey, March 7-9.

Lallemand Health Solutions announced its contribution as scientific partner to the second International Symposium on Probiotics & Prebiotics in Pediatrics (IS3P), taking place in Antalya, Turkey, March 7-9. Lallemand also sponsored the recent Probiota 2014 conference.

The symposium will allow Lallemand to promotes its scientific results and clinical studies in children amon local pediatricians. The company has developed several probiotic solutions for children's health, including Lacidofil,  a combination of Lactobacillus helveticus Rosell-52 and Lactobacillus rhamnosus Rosell-11. It has been sold in Europe, Asia and North America since 1995 as a food supplement or pharmaceutical.

The goal of IS3P is to raise awareness of clinical impact of pro- and prebiotics and functional foods in childhood health and disorders. The conference program includes international speakers and will cover topics including pro-and prebiotics, infant formulas and evidence-based benefits of functional foods.

Lallemand specializes in the development, production and marketing of yeast and bacteria, as well as other ingredients linked to these microorganisms or their markets.
