COPENHAGEN, DenmarkLallemand Health Ingredients announced its product Cysbiotic®a combination of probiotics and cranberry for womens healthis one of the finalists in the Most Innovative Ingredients category of the 2011 Nutraceutical Business & Technology (NBT) Awards. Cysbiotic combines the documented probiotic Lactobacillus rhamnosus R-11 with PACran®, a clinically studied whole cranberry powder.

The NBT Awards are designed to recognize excellence in R&D, marketing, business and technology in the nutraceutical industry. The Most Innovative Ingredient category focuses on creativity, formulation and innovation, with the winners selected based on four major criteria: technical advancement, benefit to manufacturers, scientific merit, and breadth of application. The winners of the awards will be presented on May 11, during the Vitafoods trade show in Geneva, Switzerland.
