Michelle Obama on Childhood Obesity

WASHINGTONDuring a Jan. 20 speech at the U.S. Conference of Mayors, First Lady Michelle Obama called on mayors to join her initiative to reduce childhood obesity and improve the health and well-being of American children.
The initiative, which will launch in February, will focus on healthier school lunches, increased physical activity for kids, wider availability of healthy food in all communities and more nutrition education for children and their parents.
