Milsing Expands Presence in Europe

ZAGREB, Croatia—Milsing d.o.o. announced new distribution agreements in Italy and Austria to expand the availability of its Lectranal® specialty ingredient. Sochim is now distributing Lectranal in Italy; the manufacturer Pharmasuisse has already picked up the ingredient and launched a finished product, Reactyl®. In Austria, Kosan Pharma is Milsing’s exclusive distributor, working to prepare a marketing strategy and ensuring compliance with Austrian regulatory requirements.According to the company, Lectranal is a patent-pending blend of Astragalus membranaceous extract and a mineral carrier, designed to regulate the immune system and relieve allergy symptoms. Milsing also released results of a double blind, placebo-controlled study, showing the ingredient was superior to placebo in improving quality of life and intensity of symptoms among patients with allergic rhinitis.
