National Geographic Promotes Antioxidants for Dogs

WASHINGTON--An article in the August issue of NationalGeographic reported on research showing a diet rich in vitamins C and E mayslow or reverse age-related brain deterioration in dogs, and suggested therecould be implications for the battle against Alzheimer's disease in humans. Thearticle noted that dogs are a good model of human aging, and that as dogs growolder, many behavioral changes are noted that are similar to those in humans.
