SANTA FE, N.M.Helios Corporation/Sunbio released a special report focusing on the safety of nutritional treatments for menopause. The report, entitled, " Is Gritting Your Teeth The Only Safe Way To Get Through Menopause? A Frank Discussion of The Risks And Efficacy Of Alternative Nutritional Treatments For Menopause," evaluates the risks associated with natural menopause solutions.

In the past, hormone replacement therapy (HRT) was the conventional treatment for menopause symptoms. Women are now turning to popular natural treatments to alleviate menopause symptoms. The report discusses data from studies on four common ingredients used for menopause: black cohosh, Genistein, Siberian Rhubarb Extract and Amberen.

The report also introduces EstroG-100, a Helios/Sunbio herbal product. EstroG-100 combines three Korean botanicals to provide women menopausal relief. The remedy  has been proven efficacious through both Phase I and Phase II clinical trials; it has also been proven safe through seven toxicity tests.

In March, Helios, in partnership with Sunbio, was recognized with the 2012 Best Science Editor's Choice Award from Functional Ingredients during the Engredea portion of Natural Products Expo West.
