Spirit of Women Organization Launches

CLEVELAND--Spirit of Women, a non-profitorganization for women's wellness and healthcare advocacy, introduced newhospital-based marketing programs during Expo East in Baltimore. Spirit of Womenand ADinfinitum, a New York-based marketing organization, held a seminar todiscuss the opportunities for companies to reach both women and the medicalcommunity.

"Spirit of Women is one of the most powerful women'smarketing groups to educate women," said Sue Taggart, chief executiveofficer of ADinfinitum. "They have strong brand equity and can connectnatural products companies with women who have a tremendous amount of consumerbuying power."

Spirit of Women (www.spiritofwomen.org)is a network of more than 100 hospitals and health care systems across theUnited States, anchored by the Spirit of Women National Foundation, a 501(c)3organization. It supports community based marketing initiatives that aredesigned to reach out to women and their families through local healthscreenings, education outreach in media outlets, special community events,physician forums and participation in national health promotions andconferences.
