Sunset Brands to Acquire Low Carb Creations

LOS ANGELESSunset Brands Inc., a subsidiary of Sunset HoldingsInternational Ltd., signed an exclusive letter of intent to acquire Vancouver,Wash.-based Low Carb Creations Inc. Financial terms of the deal were notdisclosed.

Our mission is to build the leading provider of great-tasting low carbproducts, suitable for low carb dieters, diabetics and everyone who enjoys greattaste and quality from wholesome, healthy foods, said Linda Langdon, founderof Low Carb Creations, who will stay on with Sunset, as will Low Carbspresident, Dan Langdon.

The transaction is expected to be completed by June 1; at such time, thecombined company will be renamed.
