Tishcon Donation Assists THF Health Initiative

LOS OSOS, Calif.--The Healthy Foundation (THF), based here, will begindistributing nationally this month one million children's chewable vitaminsdonated by Tishcon Corp. The vitamins will be delivered to more than 50 agenciesnationwide serving more than 2,000 homeless/at-risk youths daily. This move ispart of THF's "Children-At-Risk" national initiative, under which THFexpects to distribute at least two million vitamins in 2001 to U.S. children atrisk of malnutrition.

THF also announced that it has added three new board members: John Carey Jr.,U.S. Trust Corp.; Raj Chopra, Tishcon Corp.; and Connie Sherman, an experiencedfundraiser and strategic planner. Other THF programs include Vitamins for theHomeless and Operation IQ, a supplementation program for school children. Theorganization is online at www.thehealthyfoundation.org.
