TSI Abstract Wins Scripps Poster Presentation

MISSOULA, Mont.Technical Sourcing International (www.tsiinc.com) announced its proprietary PEAK ATP ingredient was the subject of a winning poster presentation at the second annual Natural Supplements: An Evidence-Based Update conference, organized by the Scripps Center for Integrative Medicine.The poster was presented by a team from the Minnesota Applied Research Center (MARC), headed by John L. Zenk, M.D., chief medical officer.

The study evaluated the impact of PEAK ATP on perfusion pressure and arterial blood oxygen saturation in 12 healthy men and women. During the crossover study design, participants received 100 mg or 250 mg of PEAK ATP or a placebo. The researchers found PEAK ATP increased upper and lower extremity perfusion pressure as well as upper extremity oxygenation. Full publication of trial results is expected in 2005 in the Journal of Complementary and Alternative Medicine.
