Wellmune Added to Functional Tea

EAGEN, Minn. Chinese nutraceutical product company U!be Group Inc. added Wellmune WGP^® to its functional beverage MediChá^®. Available in Taiwan, the concentrated tea beverage targets consumers with metabolic syndrome.

Wellmune WGP stimulates immune cells, encouraging a healthy immune system, according to its manufacturer, Biothera. As a result, the ingredient is featured in a handful of functional products, including Gloria's Pro Defensis drinkable yogurt.
