ST. LOUISZeaVision LLC developed the Eye-Q program to help eye care professionals and patients measure, monitor and maintain healthy macular pigment, a key risk factor for age-related macular degeneration (AMD). Eye doctors can use the state-of-the-art QuantifEye® device to measure a patients macular pigment level; those with low macular pigment may be advised to take EyePromise® Restore, a dietary supplement from ZeaVision containing the carotenoids zeaxanthin and lutein, which form the macular pigment.

Dennis Gierhart, Ph.D., founder, chairman and CEO of ZeaVision, commented, We patented zeaxanthin nearly a decade ago and since then millions of servings of EyePromise have been consumed. Additionally, the QuantifEye device has measured millions of eyes since its market introduction in 2006. Combining these components into a comprehensive AMD Risk Management program allows EyeCare Professionals and patients to be proactive in fighting AMD. Our companys mission is to develop supplements and other eye care products to preserve healthy vision.
