Celadrin® Increases Walk-Ability

KEARNY, N.J.A proprietary blend of cetylated fatty acids (as Celadrin®, Proprietary Nutritionals Inc.) significantly increased walking ability and decreased knee discomfort in a double blind, placebocontrolled study commissioned by Imagenetix Inc. In the unpublished, randomized study, 93 participants (aged 40 to 86 years) experiencing knee pain were evaluated at baseline and again after two, four and eight weeksover a period of 60 days. During each evaluation, participants were asked to walk for six minutes with knee discomfort; walking distance was then measured. Those given 894 mg/d Celadrin orally (after a two-week washout), walked an average distance of 1,183 feet at the studys onset. The average walking distance increased significantly throughout the study period; after eight weeks of taking Celadrin  www.celadrin.com), the participants walked an average distance of 1,720 feetan increase of 45 percent from two months earlier.
