CranForte® Inhibits E.coli Adhesion

MOMENCE, Ill.—CranForte®, a proprietary blend of cranberry and grape seed extract containing 10 percent oligomeric proanthocyanidins, was found to inhibit E.coli adhesion in a recent in-house, unpublished in vitro study. The blend inhibited E.coli adhesion to human bladder cells by 37 percent at a very low concentration.
