CARVER, Mass.—Decas Cranberry Products Inc. (DecasCranberry.com) earned a superior rating in a recent American Institute of Baking (AIB) audit, the highest level awarded by the organization for good manufacturing practices. Decas’ inspection evaluated the adequacy of food safety programs, management systems, pest control programs, cleaning practices, maintenance for food safety, operational methods and personnel practices. Decas Cranberry Products has participated in the AIB audit program since 2006, consistently receiving a superior rating.  “Decas is proud to receive the highest rating from the AIB,” said Dr. Reza Ghaedian, vice president of science and technology, Decas.  “We conduct this voluntary audit to ensure that our food processing plant meets today’s tough standards for food safety.  We pride ourselves in following good manufacturing practices, and providing our customers with the highest quality cranberry products,” continued Ghaedian.
