Dole Recalls Hearts of Romaine Salad Over Listeria

WASHINGTONDole Fresh Vegetables is recalling 2,598 cases of hearts of romaine bagged salad in nine states because they may be contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) announced.

The recall involves Dole Hearts of Romaine bagged salad coded 0540N165112A or B with use-by date of June 26 and UPC 7143000956 that were distributed in Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Maryland, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee and Virginia.
