DSM Producing ROPUFA® in Germany

PARSIPPANY, N.J.—DSM Nutritional Products announced only three months after a fire severely damaged the company’s Heanor, England, production site for its omega-3 and omega-6 essential fatty acid (EFA) products, the ingredients are being produced from DSM’s facility in Grenzach, Germany.The company elected not to rebuild the Heanor oil production facility, making the Grenzach facility the primary producer of the ROPUFA® EFA oils for the dietary supplement and food markets.
