Interhealth VP Edits Scientific Texts

BENICIA, Calif.Debasis Bagchi, Ph.D., senior vice president of research and development for InterHealth Nutraceuticals Inc. (www.interhealthusa.com), co-edited two scientific textbooks recently published by CRC Press. Obesity: Epidemiology, Pathophysiology and Prevention covers a variety of topics concerning obesity and related degenerative diseases including metabolic syndrome and diabetes; the book was co-edited by Harry Preuss, M.D., from Georgetown University Medical Center. Anti-Angiogenic Functional and Medicinal Foods, co-edited by Jack Losso, Ph.D., Louisiana State University, and Fereidoon Shahidi, Ph.D., Memorial University of Newfoundland, includes scientific articles exploring the use of functional foods around the globe and the challenges in developing anti-cancer foods.
