MegaNatural®-BP Gets Frost & Sullivan Nod

MADERA, Calif.Polyphenolics, a division of Constellation Wines U.S. Inc., earned Frost & Sullivans 2010 North American Product Differentiation Excellence of the Year Award in the Grape Seed Extracts market for its MegaNatural®-BP grape seed extract. Frost & Sullivan, a global research organization, has honored best-in-class companies worldwide for 49 years.

According to Frost & Sullivans in-depth research and evaluation, Polyphenolics has differentiated its MegaNatural®-BP grape seed extract in a U.S. market that has been challenged with an influx of low-cost, sub-standard Asian grape-seed extracts.

Frost & Sullivan reported Polyphenolics obtains 90-percent to 95-percent polyphenols in grape seeds through its unique, patented, hot water-based extraction process. In addition, this unique process also ensures no bitter aftertaste.

Frost & Sullivan also noted Polyphenolics co-branding with companies, such as GNC Inc. and The Vitamin Shoppe, and promotional activities including television, radio, print media and the Web. Polyphenolics has been able to implement a communication around science" strategy with great effect.
