SHANGHAICactus Botanics launched its new American Ginseng Powder Extract (Panax quinquefolius) raw material for dietary supplements. The GMP (good manufacturing practice)-compliant supplier offers to the extract with 10-percent ginsenosides, as tested by high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC).
An herbaceous perennial in the ivy family, American ginseng is often used in both traditional and modern Chinese medicine. The ingredient can be used for condition-specific support such as blood circulation, immune system, central nervous system and endocrine system.
In August, Cactus Botanics released a Siberian ginseng.
