MONTGOMERYVILLE, Pa.--Folexco/East Earth Herb announced it has changed its name to A.M. Todd Botanicals. A.M. Todd Botanicals is an operating division of Zink and Triest, and has been serving the food and flavor industries since 1869.
Folexco was founded as a division of A.M. Todd in 1988, as the Foliage Extract Company. In 1999, Folexco acquired East Earth Herb and the two companies merged names. By replacing the Folexco/East Earth Herb title with A.M. Todd Botanicals, it hopes to eliminate customer confusion. "We felt it was only natural that we put Folexco/East Earth herb under the A.M. Todd banner," said David Wilson, A.M. Todd's chief executive officer. "It's a natural synergy for us and our customers."
