AUSTIN, TexasThe American Botanical Council (ABC) introduced a new version of its peer-reviewed quarterly journal, HerbalGram. The journal's readers can now read full-color, digital flip-page versions of the magazine, available on its website.

The organization already publishes both print and HTML online magazines, and it will continue to do so. The new flip-page version is available to mobile and tablet users who are ABC members.

I know that many ABC members, like those of us on the ABC staff, Board of Trustees, and Advisory Board, would like to be able to access HerbalGram articles on our mobile devices. That time has now come," said ABC Founder and Executive Director, Mark Blumenthal. Now, reading HerbalGram on a smart phone or tablet computer will allow ABC members to see his photos in ways they have not been able to previously."

ABC has released issues 93, 94 and 95 as flip-page publications, and it hopes to convert back issues as well. All future HerbalGram issues will be available in the new format. This is just one recent move by the ABC to become more Web-friendly. In April, ABC published The ABC Clinical Guide to Herbs on its website.
