Pharmachem Acquires Aloe Vera Business

KEARNY, N.J.Pharmachem Laboratories Inc. acquired Florida Food Products' aloe vera business, including the ALOE CON product line.

Pharmachem will continue to sell the ALOE CON product line to customers and distributors through Improve USA, according to Peter Hafermann, president of Improve USA. Thomas Brown, vice president of Florida Foods Products, said the company hereby exits the aloe business and will focus on its other ingredient businesses.

In addition, Oliver Andersen, formerly of Florida Food Products, joined Improve USA as its new vice president.

Recently, Pharmachem also chose Pacific Resources International, Sydney, as its exclusive distributor for StarchLite, Phase 2® White Kidney Bean Extract.
