Van Drunen Farms Introduces Freeze-Dried Olives

MOMENCE, Ill.Van Drunen Farms (VDF) launched Freeze-dried Green and Black Olives to add flavor, texture and color to a variety of applications.

The olives come pitted, prepared and freeze-dried for easier storage and handling, and are available in conventional form and in diced and sliced sizes. Suggested applications include soups, dips and spreads, dry meal and side dish kits, pizza and pasta sauces, and for use in bakery items and tapenades.

Olives are also great for ethnic dishes and are often included in Greek, Italian, Spanish and various Middle Eastern cuisines. Olives pair well with various seasonings, including rosemary, garlic and oregano.

VDF also offers Freeze-Dried Mango Strips and Freeze-Dried Cranberries.
