Astaxanthin immune response landmark clinical trial and more! – white paper

Natural Astaxanthin from microalgae was the subject of a series of medical research trials at Washington State University on its potential to modulate the immune response. Leading immunity researcher Professor Boon Chew, PhD started in-vitro, then moved to rodent studies, and then to higher mammals in a dog and a cat model. The final culmination was a landmark clinical trial in healthy young women showing that Natural Astaxanthin increases several immune markers while dramatically reducing DNA damage as well as C-reactive protein.
