Breaded Okra Recalled in Texas Over Undeclared Whey

WASHINGTONMagic Valley Fresh Frozen Inc., based in McAllen, Texas, is recalling packages of HEB branded breaded okra because they may contain the undeclared allergen, whey, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) announced Feb. 10.

The recall involves 24-ounce and 5-pound packages of breaded okra produced under the HEB brand from July 1, 2010, through Jan. 31, 2011, that were sold to retail grocery stores in Texas.
