Frozen Okra Recalled Over Undeclared Whey

WASHINGTONMagic Valley Fresh Frozen Inc., a McAllen, Texas, firm, is recalling 6,492 packages of frozen breaded okra because they may contain the undeclared allergen, whey, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) announced Jan. 31.

The recall involves 16-ounce packages of breaded okra sold under the Spartan and Shurfine labels that were sold to retail stores nationwide.
