Frozen Veal Ravioli Recalled in California

WASHINGTONNina Mia Inc., based in Fullerton, Calif., is recalling approximately 654 pounds of frozen veal ravioli products because they contain the undeclared allergen, soy, USDAs Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) announced Jan. 28.

The recall involves 6-pound cases of "Pasta Mia Veal Ravioli Gastronomica" with the manufacturer item number V16LR01. Each case contains two individual 3-pound packages that bear the establishment number "20314" inside the USDA mark of inspection.

The affected products were produced from Feb. 11, 2010, to Sept. 24, 2010, and shipped to foodservice establishments in California.
