ANDERSON, Ind.Nestlé USA is investing $72 million to expand  its Anderson beverage plant to include a seventh production line that will increase the production capacity for BOOST® Complete Nutritional Drink and Carnation Breakfast Essentials® Drink.

The new line is expected to be in commercial production in 2014.

The Anderson location was chosen based on its attractive economic development policies, strong local workforce and proximity to a large number of high-quality dairy farms. The company will increase the workforce in the future as production volume continues to increase across the Anderson site.

Nestlé is also opening a new facility in Malaysia to increase beverage operations.
