Primera Technologies ~ CX1000 Color Label Printer

PLYMOUTH, Minn.Printer specialist Primera Technology released its new, fully digital CX1000 Color Label Printer for pre-die-cut labels. The printer allows manufacturers to create professional-grade labels in-house. Using any laser-qualified label material, including pressure-sensitive plain papers, white and clear polyesters, the CX1000 prints five meters per minute at 2,400-dpi print resolution.

The company also offers entry level options such as the LX400, which uses one dye-based color ink cartridge for short-run and specialty products. On the other end of the spectrum is the LX900 Color Label Printer, which prints 4.5 inches of labels per second. Primera also offers the CX1200 Color Label Press to short- to medium-run quantities up to 10,000 labels per job, and it does not require plates or mechanical dies to keep costs low.
