Smoothies Recalled in 10 States Over Allergen

WASHINGTONfreal® foods is recalling freal® Strawberry Banana Smoothies produced at Smith Dairy Products Co. in Orrville, Ohio, because they may contain the undeclared allergen, peanuts, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) announced Feb. 10.

The recall involves 10-ounce containers of freal® Strawberry Banana Smoothies with UPC code 813993004494. The affected products were distributed to Florida, Georgia, Iowa, Kentucky, Minnesota, North Carolina, New Jersey, Oregon, Tennessee and Virginia.
