Undeclared Nuts Lead to Candy Recall

WASHINGTONThe South Bend Chocolate Company, a South Bend, Ind., firm, on Aug. 6 recalled 174 1-pound bags of Bountiful Blend, a blend of chocolate covered mixed nuts and dried fruits, because they contain undeclared cashews, almonds, pecans and Brazil nuts, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) announced.

The recalled products were sold via Internet sales, mail order and may have been sold nationwide through our distributors to retail stores. The products were produced on or after March 18, 2010, and bear the UPC code 644823001549.
