Chromadex Sees Black in 1Q10

IRVINE, Cali.ChromaDex Corp. (OTCBB: CDXC) a contract research lab, released financial results for the first quarter of 2010 (1Q10), highlighting a 34-percent increase in revenues to $1.94 million in 1Q10 from $1.45 million in 1Q last year. Net income attributable to common stockholders was $.34 million or less than $0.01 per share for 1Q10, compared to a net loss of $.32 million for the same quarter in 2009. The company attributed the earnings gain in the quarter to the increase in revenues coupled with a decrease in direct labor and overhead as a percentage of sales.
