Press Release

Genysis Labs, an ISO/IEC 17025:2005 accredited contract laboratory providing specialized chemistry and microbiology testing services to the Nutraceutical, Food and Beverage industries since 2008, announced that they have been spun off from Genysis Group in conjunction with the sale of Genysis Brand Solutions to Nellson Nutraceuticals, LLC (“Nellson”). Simultaneously, the company will change its name to Dyad Labs. What does the new name mean? Glad you asked.

dy·ad -'diad/ PAIR. Something that consists of two elements or parts. Specifically, two individuals or parties maintaining a significant relationship.

Dyad Labs will continue to provide testing services to Genysis Brand Solutions as part of the transaction agreement between Genysis Group and Nellson. Additionally, within the next few months, Dyad Labs will relocate to a nearby facility to accommodate the needs of the growing lab.

In 2008, Genysis Labs began as an in-house testing laboratory for Genysis Brand Solutions, a large contract manufacturer of nutritional supplements. As Genysis Brand Solutions expanded over the years, the lab also grew in size and scope to offer a full range of chemical and microbiological testing services using state of the art equipment. This increase in capabilities and expertise resulted in the acquisition of additional third-party national and international clients and positioned Dyad Labs to be successful as a stand-alone laboratory.

The new Dyad Labs facility, located in the Pioneer Square Business Park at the intersection of I215 and 2100 South in Salt Lake City, will have over 20,000 sq. feet of laboratory space to allow for the addition of new testing services, equipment, and staff. An open house of the new facility is scheduled for Spring of 2018.

Jeff Reynolds, founder and president of Dyad Labs said, “In order to better serve our clients’ testing needs, we knew we had to add space and expertise. This agreement allows us to continue to serve Genysis Brand Solutions while making room for our growing base of third-party clients, including other food and dietary supplement manufacturers.”
