AIDP Receives Magnesium Composition Patent

INDUSTRY, Calif.AIDP Inc. received a U.S. patent for magnesium compositions and uses for magnesium-containing food compositions. The patent (No. 8,178,132) is one of many for the company, and covers all food and beverage formats.

The company distributes Magtein magnesium L-threonate, a cognitive health product. Magtein is a magnesium-based functional ingredient designed to improve memory, focus and overall cognitive health, including ameliorating the effects of a neurological disorder. AIDP began distributing Magtein in June 2011.
