Certified Nutra Receives Collagen Patent

MURRIETA, Calif.  Certified Nutraceuticals, Inc. received U.S Patent No. 8,344,106 B1 for making and using kollaGen II-xs, avian sternum collagen type 2 powder hydrolsate. The patent also covers kollaGen I.V.X, an eggshell membrane powder, and TendoGuard, which combines the two.

The company uses a proprietary water extraction technology process to extract denatured type 2 collagen powderwithout using solvents. According to Certified Nutraceuticals, the process produces more hyaluronic acid (HA) and chondroitin to support joint health.
