MOMENCE, Ill.--FutureCeuticals, a division of VanDrunen Farms, announced the production of Nutrim, a hydrocolloid food additive and nutraceutical ingredient patented by the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA). The supplement is a source of low cost beta-glucans, containing 10 percent beta-glucan soluble fiber. Nutrim is an all-natural product with no additives or preservatives and can be manufactured 100 percent organic. FutureCeuticals also introduced a new skin care ingredient called Collagain. Collagain is a patented ingredient that offers aqueous ascorbic acid stability and delivery as well as fruit-form boron. FutureCeuticals also announced its new line of fermented soy products, which uses organic soybeans. The soybeans are cooked, fermented and dried to form Soylac, a soybean powder. Another line that is new from FutureCeuticals is Fermented Aglycone Soy Isoflavones. According to the company, this line is more advantageous that other isoflavones on the market because it contains fermented aglycone isoflavones that deliver more active and biologically available production.
