NattoPharma Gains U.S. Patent for Vitamin K2

OSLO, NorwayNattoPharma ASA's "Vitamin K2-Containing Food Product" was recently published as Patent No. 8,354,219 by the United States Patent and Trade Office.

This newly published patent will provide NattoPharma a broad coverage on the use of MenaQ7 and MenaQ7Crystals, its natural vitamin K2 products,  in food and dietary supplements to help support cardiovascular health.

According to NattoPharma, MenaQ7Crystals provide natural vitamin K2 by using Bacillus licheniformis in a soy-free fermentation process;MenaQ7 guarantees activeness, stability and clinical substantiation.
