DECATUR, Ill.—Sabinsa Corp. has settled a patent infringement lawsuit filed against it by ADM, which accused Sabinsa of using ADM’s patented technology by unlawfully making, using, offering for sale, selling and/or importing its GENIMAX® soy-based isoflavone products. Sabinsa agreed ADM’s patents were valid and enforceable, and conceded its GENIMAX products infringed the patents. However, the agreement also declares Sabinsa’s infringement was unintentional and not willful. Sabinsa has agreed to discontinue making or selling the infringing product in the United States.
