Wild Oats IP Goes to Luberski Inc.

FULLERTON, Calif.THe rights to the Wild Oats intellectual property (IP) has been won by Luberski Inc., according to FTC. The holding company now holds the worldwide licensee rights to the Wild Oats brand, which it said would help them give birth to new natural and organic food, beverage and supplement products in all retail supermarkets. Tim Luberski, CEO of Luberski Inc.which also has licensee rights to Horizon Organic brand eggs, Smart Balance brand eggs and Gold Circle Farmssays the company will also license the label back to original manufacturers of Wild Oats products.

The Wild Oats brand is known for its high-quality, natural and organic products both domestically and internationally, Luberski said. Our hope for the Wild Oats brand is to enhance our retail customers ability to sell more natural and organic products.

Natural products veteran Anthony Zolezzi, former CEO of the New Organics Co. and Pet Promise natural pet food, spent several years working with Luberski on getting this deal done. Wild Oats developed a loyal following and is recognizable to consumers as a trusted brand in the natural products space, Zolezzi said.  There is a great deal of value that can continue to be built with this brand.
