MIGDAL HA’EMEQ, Israel—Enzymotec Ltd.’s KREAL krill oil earned the 2014 Ringier Technology Innovation Award in the nutraceuticals category.

The award, organized by Ringier Trade Media, is a prestigious award in China’s food and beverage industry given to innovative companies that made significant contributions to advancing the industry through technology innovation, efficiency improvements and marketing opportunity creations.

“We are honored to be given this award, which recognizes the unique value we provide to our customers," said Ayner Avissara, Asia Pacific regional manager of Enzymotec.

KREAL is one of Enzymotec line of premium omega-3 products, extracted from sustainable Antarctic krill using a unique proprietary extraction process called Multi Stage Oil Extraction.

Enzymotec also received a Friend of the Sea certification in China days ago.
