Fuji Closes U.S. Office; E.T. HornDistributing Nationwide

ROBBINSVILLE, N.J.--Fuji Chemical closed its NewJersey-based U.S. office. According to a spokeswoman, Fuji's headquarters inJapan decided to refocus the company's efforts on its pharmaceutical andnutritional business in that country. "However, Fuji will retain technicalpersonnel in the United States through the end of this year," said YasukoKuroda in Fuji's New Jersey office.

Fuji will continue to distribute its nutritional products,including astaxanthin and essential fatty acids (EFAs), through ingredientdistributors. The company expanded the role of E.T. Horn in La Mirada, Calif.,from West Coast distributor to nationwide.
