IZEGEM, BelgiumHealth Claims Europe VVZRL, a cooperation of Ignace Debruyne & Associates VOF and Nutrimedes Bvba have scheduled a Global Summit on Nutrition, Health and Human Behaviour: Long-Chain Omega-3 for a Better World, for March 3 to 4, 2011, in Bruges, Belgium. According to the organizers, the goal of the summit is to gather high-level industry people, top scientific research and government and policy makers together in an effort to develop new product strategies and policies for meeting long-chained omega-3 requirements. Event partners include the Global Organizsation for EPA and DHA Omega-3 (GOED) and the European Food and Feed Law Review.

The two-day program will feature speakers from Martek Biosciences, the U.S. National Institutes of Health (NIH), Oxford University, England, the London Metropolitan University, GOED, Friends of the Sea, and the International Fishmeal and Fish Oil Organisation (IFFO).
