Lysi Nets U.S. Fish Oil Distribution Partner

REYKJAVIK, IcelandArcticSource1 LLC has signed an agreement to serve as the U.S. distributor of products from Lysi hf, the largest Icelandic producer of high quality omega-3 products. The agreement covers all product groups, but focus will be on Lysis new and improved, naturally healthy and pure fish and cod liver oils.

Lysi came out fo the financial crises stronger and ready to increase its market share, according to Katrin Petursdottir, president and majority owner of Lysi hf. This led Lysi management to look at the U.S. market, which is the largetst market for fish oils and omega-3-rich products, said Agusta Hardardottir, Lysis director of marketing and sales of bulk materials, who noted the reasons for choosing ArcticSource1 included their expertise and knowledge of marine ingredients and the omega-3 global market.
