Lysi's New Fish Oil Facility Doubles Capacity

NEW YORKIcelandirect Inc. announced Lysi's new processing and packaging facility in Reykjavik, Iceland, is almost complete. Icelandirect imports and distributes fish oils from Iceland manufacturer and said the new facility will enable Icelandirect to offer a wider range of omega-3 oils including tuna oil, salmon oil and cod liver oil, in greater quantities with shorter lead times and at more competitive pricing.

The new 43,000-sq.-ft. GMP (good manufacturing practice)-compliant facility will more than double capacity. Mark H. Stenberg, CEO of Icelandirect, said, Were very excited about the new factory and how it will help us better serve our existing customers as well as expand distribution in the United States and meet the overwhelming consumer demand for high-quality fish oils."
