Neilson Dairy Milk Contains DHA

GEORGETOWN, OntarioA speciallyformulated diet developed at the University of Guelph, Ontario, and supported bythe Dairy Farmers of Ontario, enables dairy cows to absorb docosahexaenoic acid(DHA) and release it naturally into their milk, according to Neilson Dairy (www.neilsondairy.com), who make Neilson Dairy Oh!, the first fresh dairymilk to contain DHA. The special diet protects the DHA from being broken down inthe cows stomach.

According to Neilson Dairy, one 250-ml. serving of its Neilson Dairy Oh! homogenized milk contains 20mg of DHA, and one single 250-ml. serving of Neilson Dairy Oh! 2- percent milkcontains 10 mg of DHA.
